What is it?
Topstopper is exactly what the name says it is: it stops your C4 Corvette ragtop from collapsing when you want to access the storage area of your vehicle. Topstopper is the perfect solution for 1988 to 1996 Corvette Convertibles with plastic or glass windows in their ragtop. There is nothing so simple on the market today!!
How does it work?
Topstopper is designed to fit perfectly between the top of the convertible roof when pulled back and the top of the rear deck when open. Topstopper conveniently holds both elements in an upright position allowing you to easily store and retrieve items in your C4 Convertible.
Why was this new product/design created?
Have you ever tried to get something in the back of your C4 Convertible while your shoulder is holding up your ragtop? Isn't it annoying? You don't have the ability to be completely free from your vehicle when accessing your storage area. You risk having grease/dirt marks on the back of your shoulder from the top pin. You risk an even greater problem of potentially damaging the ragtop or scratching your vehicle as you take items in and out of your storage area when your hands are not completely free.
After investigation, it became apparent that this was indeed a problem and that there are some devices available on the market. However, these designs involve a semi-permanent, swing-arm attachment to the rear deck. As a Canadian Corvette owner, the cost of shipping from the United States to Canada and along with the exchange rate, the cost for this type of unit was expensive. Topstopper was designed as a new design- solution. It is simple, easy to use and remove, invisible when not in use and "no assembly required". What more could a Vette owner ask for?
C4 Convertible owners have seen with their own eyes the Topstopper's debut at many Cruise nights and Corvette functions. Topstopper is no doubt "tops" to any other device currently available.
What does it look like?
Topstopper is a one-piece wooden component, painted and rubber coated in black. The perfect home for the Topstopper is any place at the back of the storage area. It is easily accessible to you when needed.
Installation is Simple?
Use of the Topstopper is just too simple - two seconds at the most. Instructions and photograph as to the proper positioning of the Topstopper is included in the packet provided
